Why These Photos Caught My Eye This Fall

Every day I see lots of photos of hair. Some make me stop and look, others I scroll past without a second thought. But a few catch my attention more than the rest. It might be an unusual cut, a color you didn't expect, or a small detail that changes the whole picture.

I picked 7 hair photos that I really loved lately, and I thought I'd share with you what stood out to me in each one.

1. Short curly hair. Why not?
Short curly hair with curls that frame the face

What I loved most is that she dared to cut her curly hair so short. The curls hug the face and their curves blend beautifully with its angles. It's a cut with real character, and you don't need to spend ages in front of the mirror styling it.

2. Bangs make all the difference
Very short bangs, strong graduation and long coily hair

The contrast won me over here. Very short, sharp bangs, strong graduation and long coily hair left to run free. I like that she doesn't try to tame it. That freedom adds intensity to the face and makes the whole look more interesting.

3. Blonde with a twist
Platinum blonde hair with hidden dark strands

A few dark strands hidden inside very light, almost platinum blonde hair. It's a detail you might not have thought of, but it makes a big difference. I love the boldness in the color and how distinctive the result becomes. I can imagine it in all kinds of shades and contrasts.

4. Something from the 80s
Haircut with bold face-framing layers and different color tones, inspired by the 80s

Bold layering, different color tones and a cut that doesn't need to be perfectly styled to look great. The cut enhances the color, creating that carefree 80s attitude I find so interesting. Even messy, it will have personality.

5. When you dare, go all the way
Bold copper-red color with short bangs and a jaw-length bob

Intense copper-red, short bangs and a jaw-length bob. Three bold choices together that blend so harmoniously and create a very elegant whole. I'm sure it would look just as striking in red or even black!

6. A bob that needs no introduction
Elegant bob with movement, volume and interesting shades

It's not an unusual cut. But it's so elegant! I love the movement, the volume and the way the hair falls. A lovely reminder that you don't always have to do something extreme to get a haircut with personality, as long as you pair it with interesting shades in your hair!

7. Who said curls have to be long?
Short curly hair with volume, in a style reminiscent of the 80s

Another photo that reminds me of the 80s. Short curly hair, volume and a really lovely shape around the face. I love it because it shows you can cut your curls quite short without losing any of their style or your femininity.

And one last thing…
Harmony between shape and color.
What I love about all these photos is the harmony between shape and color, which creates a unique and distinctive style!

Often an image like this is the start of a great conversation. We don't have to copy a haircut or search the color chart for the exact shade. We can keep just one detail, one line or one idea and bring it to your own hair.

After all, that's what I find so interesting about my work.
